How to use Animation frame extractor

Extract complete GIF or supported animated-WebP frames as PNGs with a timing manifest.

  1. Choose local input and settings, or try the labelled synthetic sample. File selection does not read content; processing starts after the explicit action.
  2. GIF/animated WebP ≤10 MiB · 100 frames · 1024 px per side/1 MP canvas · 40 million complete-frame pixels · ZIP ≤32 MiB.
  3. Exports complete composited PNG frames plus timing JSON. GIF uses the strict local decoder; animated WebP requires native ImageDecoder and has no fallback. WebP with EXIF rotation is unsupported. Source metadata is discarded; timings are retained as stored/reported, and players may impose minimum delays. No APNG or video.
  4. Review the preview and exported result. Cancel stops the disposable local worker; edit/Clear/leave discards old results and download links. Input files are not changed or uploaded; working data is not saved to an account. Downloaded files remain on your device.
