How to use Estimate music BPM & key

Inspect tempo and tonal-key estimates with visible heuristic uncertainty, entirely on your device.

  1. Choose one local file or use the synthetic sample, then set the options. No reading or encoding starts until the action is chosen.
  2. One file ≤30 MiB / 60 seconds; one audio + one video track; mono/stereo 8–48 kHz; SDR video ≤1080p / 30 fps / 1,800 frames. Output ≤32 MiB. Native codecs vary.
  3. Uncalibrated estimates, not musical ground truth. Tempo can be half/double; key can be wrong or inconclusive for short, silent, percussive or changing recordings. Uses the more energetic channel and up to 120 spectral windows; no trained model or upload.
  4. Run locally and review the result. Downloaded files remain on your device. Edit, Clear or leaving discards the old result; Cancel terminates its worker. No file or result is uploaded or stored in your account.
