How to use Text & code comparison

Compare exact lines and line endings. Download a complete local JSON report of additions and removals.

  1. Paste text and choose the settings. Work starts only when you choose the tool action; samples are fictitious. No account or file upload is required.
  2. 1 MiB per text input · 4 MiB complete output · browser-only processing. 5,000 lines/side · changed-region alignment ≤1,000,000 cells.
  3. Compares exact line contents and CRLF/CR/LF endings, including the final line break. Replacements are removal + addition; moved/repeated lines can align differently. This does not execute or understand code. The JSON download preserves all compared lines.
  4. Review the result before downloading. Cancel stops the local worker; editing, Clear or leaving discards the old result and download link. Text and results are not saved to your account. Already-downloaded files remain on your device.
