How to use JSON formatter & validator

Format, minify, validate or inspect JSON paths while preserving original number spelling.

  1. Choose your input type and options. Try the clearly labelled sample first.
  2. Up to 1 MiB of UTF-8 input and 4 MiB of output. Runs locally after you choose the action. At most 64 container levels and 20,000 values.
  3. Keeps number/string spelling and order. Duplicate keys, comments and trailing commas are rejected. Tree is a plain-text JSON Pointer outline. No schema validation.
  4. Choose the action to process locally, review the text result, then copy or download it. Editing or clearing the input discards the old result. Cancel stops the worker; leaving the page clears working data. No input or result is uploaded or stored by this tool.
