How to use Unix timestamp & timezone

Convert explicit Unix seconds, milliseconds or an offset-bearing ISO date and display an IANA time zone.

  1. Choose your input type and options. Try the clearly labelled sample first.
  2. Years 0001–9999, millisecond precision. ISO example: 2026-10-19T12:30:00-04:00.
  3. Units are explicit. No local ambiguous date parsing or leap seconds. Timezone rules come from the browser and can differ by version.
  4. Choose the action to process locally, review the text result, then copy or download it. Editing or clearing the input discards the old result. Cancel stops the worker; leaving the page clears working data. No input or result is uploaded or stored by this tool.
