Tool guide
How to use EPUB to text or PDF
Extract unencrypted XHTML EPUB reading-order text as TXT or a reflowed image-only PDF.
- Choose one supported local file or try the labelled sample. HTML also accepts pasted source; use one input method at a time.
- One EPUB ≤5 MiB; standard stored/deflate ZIP without ZIP64/data descriptors; ≤256 entries/16 MiB expanded, ≤1 MiB per text XML resource; ≤100 linear XHTML spine items, 200,000 extracted characters. PDF ≤20 pages/32 MiB; 60-second deadline.
- Unencrypted UTF-8 XHTML reading-order text only. Ignores images, CSS, active resources and non-spine content; style-hidden text may be included. No DRM or fixed-layout reconstruction. PDF reflows into system-font page images without selectable text. TXT preserves extracted Unicode.
- Choose Extract EPUB text. Review the first-page preview and extracted text where available, then download and inspect every exported page.
- Cancel stops local parsing/rendering/export. Editing invalidates output. Clear or leaving the page discards files/results and revokes temporary URLs; downloaded files remain on your device. No file or extracted content is uploaded or saved to your account.
