Tool guide

How to use Flatten PDF visually

Render visible pages and supported stored annotations into a fresh image-only PDF.

  1. Choose one supported local file or try the labelled sample. HTML also accepts pasted source; use one input method at a time.
  2. One unlocked PDF ≤10 MiB and 20 pages. 108 dpi; ≤4,096 pixels/side, 6 million/page, 40 million total. PDF ≤32 MiB; 60-second deadline. XFA/signatures/unsupported annotation appearances reject.
  3. Creates a fresh image-only PDF. Text selection, forms, links, layers, comments, attachments, bookmarks, accessibility tags, source metadata and signatures are not kept. Preserve the original; this does not certify secure redaction. Only visible supported stored annotation appearances are burned in. Review every page, especially forms.
  4. Choose Flatten visible pages. Review the first-page preview and extracted text where available, then download and inspect every exported page.
  5. Cancel stops local parsing/rendering/export. Editing invalidates output. Clear or leaving the page discards files/results and revokes temporary URLs; downloaded files remain on your device. No file or extracted content is uploaded or saved to your account.
