How to use Remove PDF header & footer bands

Whiten explicit top/bottom page bands, including their content, in a fresh image-only PDF.

  1. Choose one supported local file or try the labelled sample. HTML also accepts pasted source; use one input method at a time.
  2. Same 10 MiB/20-page raster limits as flattening. Top/bottom bands 0–40% each, ≤60% combined; at least one nonzero. 60-second deadline.
  3. Choose proportional bands yourself; all visible content in those bands is whitened on every page. There is no automatic identification of page numbers, headers or footers. Creates a fresh image-only PDF. Text selection, forms, links, layers, comments, attachments, bookmarks, accessibility tags, source metadata and signatures are not kept. Preserve the original; this does not certify secure redaction.
  4. Choose Remove selected page bands. Review the first-page preview and extracted text where available, then download and inspect every exported page.
  5. Cancel stops local parsing/rendering/export. Editing invalidates output. Clear or leaving the page discards files/results and revokes temporary URLs; downloaded files remain on your device. No file or extracted content is uploaded or saved to your account.
